Throughout the tour, we are meeting with Young Presidents’ Organizations, Entrepreneurs’ Organizations and business professionals to speak with those interested about how they can create cultures of good at their own workplaces. We’ll be hosting workshops, sharing presentations with time for Q&As and diving into discovering what the secret sauce is for companies to change or enhance their cultures. We want to engage with those who are interested in inspiring their employees and help them discover how they can contribute to making the world a better place.
The list of YPO and EO groups and businesses we’re meeting with is growing…and we’d love to make time for even more. Interested in meeting? Check out our bus tour schedule to find out if we’re stopping in your city!
Businesses aren’t the only people we’re impacting on this bus tour, either.
Every year, the average teacher spends roughly $500 of their own money on school supplies, yet many classrooms still run out of materials halfway through the school year. We believe teachers deserve more, and we believe that teachers rock.
So from January-March, we’ll be touring around the nation to connect with communities on a personal level. We’re stopping at local schools in 31 cities to give away packages filled with school supplies for teachers. At each school, we’ll donate 10 packs to teachers. For every teacher reached, we’re impacting 30 students. Overall, we are impacting 200 teachers and 300 students during our bus tour. ***
*** This bus tour coincides with TCC’s Teachers Rock Supply Giveaway, in which we’ll be donating school supply packs to 5,000 teachers altogether.
For every #SXSW good deed photo shared on Twitter and Facebook using the hashtag #cultureofgood, 100 backpacks full of school supplies will be donated to kids in US!
In total, the goal is to donate 170,000 backpacks to children in the U.S., accounting for 1700 SXSW-goers doing good for each other!
